Weight Loss: A Royal Pain





Everyone wants to drop a few pounds before the big day.  Whether it's for a reception of 200 or a Tweeted gala of 2 billion.

Just remember one thing when it comes to weight loss:




Weekly Recipe, Couscous Cakes with Thai Cashews


Makes 6, serves 2-3
  • 1 cup whole wheat couscous, prepared
  • 1/4 cup smashed white beans (or chickpeas)
  • 2 TBS ground flax seed
  • 3 TBS pesto
  • non-stick cooking spray
  • Trader Joe's Spicy Lime Thai Cashews
  • Marinara sauce (if desired)
Spray a pan with non-stick spray and heat over medium high heat.  Combine first  four ingredients and shape into 6 cakes.  Cook on each side for 3 minutes.  Spoon 1/4 cup tomato sauce on plate, add couscous cakes, and cashews.  Eat!
